Working Principle

The function of the PVC Shrink Wrap Machine is to use hot air to shrink the PVC film cast on products uniformly and closely. Initial product sealing and cutting are followed by entry to a shrinking channel. This process involves a temperature control system, a stable transport mechanism, as well as terse, transparent, and smooth packaging. Our conveyor system utilizes shock-absorbing chains or mesh belts with automatic tension control to ensure smooth passage of goods through the heat-shrinking zone. Conveyor speeds are carefully matched to ensure that each product spends the same amount of time in the hot air tunnel: this results in a beautiful, wrinkle-free film after shrinking.

Hot Air Shrinking Zone

PVC shrinks effectively even at relatively low temperatures (typical operating temperature range is approximately 90-120°C), but overheating can cause embrittlement. We avoid this by using zoned PID closed-loop temperature control and a carefully designed multi-directional air circulation system. This combination creates a gentle, uniform heating profile during the packaging process, resulting in a film with the most uniform gloss distribution currently achievable by any advanced method, without compromising transparency. Even after long-term storage, the PVC retains its radiant shine.
